This book sheds light on the act of honor killing in the Middle East. Contrary to misconceptions, this prevalent crime is a reflection of patriarchal societies and is wrongly attributed to Islamic practices. The project features a few stories of victims’ and includes information that traces its origin and denies it’s connections and associations with religion. Drawing inspiration from actual criminal case records, the book's design incorporates diverse paper textures, typefaces, and annotations to create a compelling visual narrative.
